Sharifa Alshalfan is an architect and is currently a Municipal Council Member. She has a Bachelor of Architecture from University of Southern California and an MSc in City Design and Social Science from London School of Economics. She worked at Zaha Hadid Architects, AGi architects and consulted with the World Bank. She also co-authored “The Multiplex typology: Living in Kuwait’s hybrid homes”, a book that explores housing needs and behaviours in Kuwait.
