Aseel AlYaqoub is an artist, researcher and writer based in Kuwait. She is the founder of Safat Studios, an artist community that focuses on experimental programs, and holds an MFA from Pratt Institute in New York and a BA from Chelsea College of Art in London. Her commissions include Desert X AlUla (Weird Life, 2024), the Kuwait Pavilion at the 17th International Architecture Exhibition at La Biennale di Venezia (Space Wars, 2021) and the Art Jameel Commission (Contrary Life, 2018).
